Safety & Health Consultant
Derek Robins is a Safety and Health Consultant with High EH&S Consulting. Derek has a strong industrial background including experience with HVAC, electrical systems, powered industrial trucks and a wide array of maintenance applications. Derek is a PA certified Asbestos Management Planner and Building Inspector. Derek has received training in Building Sciences at Kirkcaldy College of Technology and has been responsible for onsite safety at several very large construction projects. Derek has extensive experience conducting compliance training, i.e. Powered Industrial Truck, Lockout / Tagout, Confined Space, and Respiratory Protection. Derek is also a certified FA/CPR/AED Trainer. In his last position within another High company, High Steel Service Center, Derek was responsible for leading the safety committee and assisting with organizational compliance. He has cross-trained to develop additional skills in environmental air quality assessments.
