Emergency Services Specialist

Brooke Strubel, B.S., NREMT is an Emergency Services Specialist at High Environmental Health and Safety Consulting Ltd.

Brooke holds a B.S. in Emergency Management and Homeland Security with a minor in Criminal and Restorative Justice from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA. Brooke’s journey in emergency services began early as she obtained her PA Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license during her senior year of high school. Brooke has worked in emergency services ever since and has further been certified as an EMT under the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

Furthering her dedication to public safety, Brooke attended and graduated from the Reading Police Academy (ACT 120) in June of 2021. Brooke encompasses certifications as a Firefighter 1 and Vehicle Rescue Technician. She currently serves part-time as an EMT with the Ephrata Community Ambulance Association.

In her role as an Emergency Services Specialist, Brooke is a First Aid, CPR, and AED Master Trainer. She conducts several emergency service-related trainings including the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Fire Extinguisher Training. Brooke is also a certified Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) instructor. Utilizing her emergency management expertise, Brooke is capable of developing, updating, and maintaining a variety of Emergency Response Plans including, but not limited to, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Cardiac Emergency Response Plans (CERPs), ensuring the preparedness and resilience of organizations in the face of potential emergencies and crises.
