Description

Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) is authorized by the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI). AVERT’s content has been specifically adapted for the general public by medical and law enforcement experts. AVERT uses a dynamic method to teach proactive awareness, how to react and protect yourself and others in a violent situation, and how to respond to stop the bleeding of severe injuries that often are a result of these occurrences. Requires completion of a 30-minute Online training prior to the classroom portion. Participants receive a Certificate of Training that is valid for 2 years.

Time: June 13 (1pm – 3pm) ; Sept 24 (2pm – 4pm)

Class Size: 5 person minimum – 20 person maximum
